Nilin Teachers’ Centre
The Centre developed a regular programme which includes educational and cultural activities targeting the broader community of Ni’lin and surrounding villages, with emphasis on teachers, children and their parents.
Teachers’ Forums
QCERD carried on with its support to a number of teachers’ forums across the West Bank run by the teachers themselves.
The Botanical Gardens
QCERD is partnering with Birzeit University to establish a botanical garden in the university which is to include an educational dimension.
The Interactive Science Centre
A partnership was initiated with the Ramallah Municipality to develop a comprehensive master plan to build an interactive science centre in Ramallah. QCERD sought expertise from the Exploratorium in San Fransisco, California, in developing the master plan.
Communicative Sciences
The Centre accumulated significant experience in science-oriented community activities through the Science Festival and Science Snacks which were held in several regions In Palestine.
