- Membership
The number of members at the library in Ramallah reached 1,203, most of whom are teachers and postgraduate students in education and the humanities. The number of members in Gaza is 1,069, most of whom are postgraduate students.
2. Translations
The Centre translated 39 materials in subjects such as arts in education, drama, science education, history, education through the project, and the Early Childhood project.
The Centre established a plan to translate 10 – 15 books in education, the arts, technology, and drama with UK publishers, Trentham Books.
3. Publications
Two issues of Ru’a Tarbawiyya magazine were published (numbers 37 and 38/39). Three books were translated and published: Teaching Drama: A Mind of Many Wonders, by Norah Morgan and Juliana Saxton, Drama Worlds: A Framework for Process Drama, by Cecily O'Neill, and Drama for Learning: Dorothy Heathcote's Mantle of the Expert Approach to Education, by Dorothy Heathcote and Gavin Bolton.
Two books are currently in the process of being translated for publication: Drama and Traditional Story for the Early Years by Nigel Toye and Francis Prendiville, and Asking Better Questions by Norah Morgan and Juliana Saxton.
4. Distribution
2,493 copies of the 38/39 issue of Ru’a Tarbawiya magazine were distributed to the West Bank and 1,000 copies to the Gaza Strip. As well, 526 copies of 28 books published in previous years were also distributed.
5. Films
Professional Development for Early Childhood Teachers
A documentary about Professional Development for Early Childhood Teachers was screened at the project’s 2013 graduation ceremony. A short film, Olives, based on a project at the Aboud School, is currently in production, as is another film, about the Clean Deir Qaddis project.
